Standard: Emeria ConTROLL

   Today we're going to take a look in standard with this beauty…….

This was a card that  was amazed with ever since it was released. Having the ability to recur threats all day is just awesome especially if you have a lot of plains. That my friend is called value. Speaking of plains, this card needs a lot of plains to work. Well, that would be a problem if you're not playing MONO-WHITE. Yup, thats right we are building an Emeria Control Based deck, no splash, classic mono-white. But its not any control deck, its a budget control deck. 

" One does not simply have a BUDGET CONTROL deck "

For this deck, we need some things to make us survive the early game. So, if you were playing blue, you would have a Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, But since its not white and its $80, we're not playing it. But since the deck is a TROLL deck……..

Fortified Rampart Can Simply say 'NO' to all aggro decks, and Orator of Ojutai can say'NO' to Mantis Riders around the world.

How do we close the game you ask? Well, meet my friend…….

First of all, having a dragon to reveal to get full value of Orator of Ojutai is nice. But having a 4/3 flyer that only gets bigger every time your opponent does something is insane. And the most important thing is, ITS BUDGET. Insane. We're also playing Ruin Processor which is just a hard hitter and works extremely well with some enchantments in our deck.

We need some things to interact with the board. We're running the enchantment package with Stasis Snare, Silkwrap, and Suspension Field. Silkwrap takes care of Jace Vryn's Prodigy, Mantis Rider, Warden of the First Tree and a lot more annoying things. Suspension Field takes care of all the big threats, and Stasis Snare is just Good.

We're not far behind on Instants too with Gideon's Reproach and Valorous Stance to keep some threats in check. 

Planar Outburst will be a backup plan in our deck if we can't answer threats one for one. 

Coming to the best part about the deck………..

Because we're budget, we can't play fetch lands or battle lands, but that might not be so bad cause we're playing Emeria Shepherd which is crazy for plains. So, having dose basics are sweet. Without wasting anymore of your time I present to you……. the deck list.

As for the sideboard, it can be customised any way you like. You can play Radiant Purge for Siege Rhino. Surge of Righteousness is a staple in all white coloured sideboards. Erase would be nice to keep those Outpost Sieges In check. 

As for me, I would like to put Prism Ring in there to just get a little bit of life gain in there.
